I had no idea part of Washburn was destroyed by a tornado. It’s interesting to find facts about the school we are attending. Since the weather has been very tornadic lately, it’s a very good time to remind or inform people of the damage done by this tornado over 40 years ago.

I really enjoyed this website a lot. It is a helpful website for not only language arts but for several other subjects like math, etc. I took a look at the Virtual Bee Hive, the matching word, and search word games. These were all very helpful and I believe this website would be very beneficial to young children. I could even use it for my math class, so thanks for the helpful website.

You could get him an iPod and then put educational songs on it for him. There is always the baseball mitt, football, or soccer ball too.

I share your concerns. Granted, teachers should not put themselves into situations in which their actions could be questioned, but even that does not stop some students who are “out to get” a teacher they dislike.

They are very funny! I had the pleasure of judging a state-wide video competition for high schoolers. One that we saw was a take off of these commercials. The two in the car were talking back and forth about how thick the shakes were and the “passenger” guy kept looking down at his drink. They decided that the shakes were so thick that you could turn them upside down without them coming out. So, passenger guy flipped his drink over and the cherry limeade came pouring out. It was really funny and well done!
